2022’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is right around the corner, and if you’ve ever attended in the past, you know how hectic it can be to plan your schedule. With thousands of exhibitors, countless high-profile keystone events, and, of course, all of Las Vegas at your disposal, making the most of your short trip can be a challenge.
For our community in the media and production space, there are several events we’d recommend checking out. Here’s our roundup of the must-attend events from our team at Lemonlight!
Lemonlight’s Crowdfunding Cocktail Party
When: January 6, 4pm-7:30pm
Where: The Dorsey Cocktail Bar at The Venetian
First on the list is Lemonlight’s own event aimed at the crowdfunding community. We’re partnering with the other crowdfunding giants (including Indiegogo, StartEngine, LaunchBoom, and EasyShip) for a great party at the Dorsey Cocktail Bar inside the Venetian. If you have a product to launch in 2022 or you just want to talk video with our team, we’d love to see you there! Plus, with all the crowdfunding experts in one room, it’s the perfect time to craft a holistic strategy that aligns with all the industry’s best practices.
The Digital Media Open West
When: January 4, 9:30am-6pm
Where: The Snow Course at Paiute Golf Resort
Next up we have the annual Digital Media Open, which takes place the day before the official start of CES. For all the golf fans in our audience, the Digital Media Open is a day on the Snow Course at Paiute Golf Resort. It’s aimed at leaders in the digital advertising industry, and the Digital Media Open Cup is on the line. Tickets start at $475 and sponsorship opportunities are available.
LevelUp at CES: A Night to Elevate StartUps
When: January 5, 6pm-8:30pm
Where: Historic Fifth Street School
For our startup audience, this LevelUp event provides an opportunity for founders to present their companies to the crowd for immediate feedback and mentorship. The event’s panel will include successful investors, entrepreneurs, and other leaders in the space. If you’re hoping for clarity on your business’s next steps or looking for a mentor or investor, this is the place to be. (And if your next steps involve video, you know where to find us!) Best of all, LevelUp is free and open to the public, whether you have a ticket to CES or not.
Digital LA: Digital Drinks
When: January 6, 6pm-8pm
Where: TBD
For those based in LA like our team at Lemonlight, don’t miss the Digital LA Drinks meetup on January 6. The location is still being determined, but it’ll be a great opportunity to network with our local digital media community. For those of you based in other cities across the country, check to see if your area is doing a similar event!
Techfluence CES Mixer
When: January 6, 7pm-10pm
Where: Mandalay Bay Media Suite
Last but not least, if you’re a content creator or influencer, this Techfluence CES Mixer is for you. Only creators will be eligible to attend, so it’ll be the perfect place to make new friends who understand what it’s like to film content day in and day out. Make sure to share your social handles or YouTube channel in the registration form so you’ll be granted access to the event.
