4 Fitness Brands Killing It with Video Marketing

Hylete is a direct-to-consumer premium performance apparel brand. Their vision was to expand into new territory in the fitness space and wanted to leverage video to promote a crowdfunding offering to their lively and active community.


Because so much of crowdfunding revolves around having a good video, we created this docu-style crowdfunding video to explain the company’s vision for the future and engage with interested Hylete fans to potentially turn into investors in the company. Watch how the talking head of Hylete CEO Ron Wilson not only makes you feel confident in the brand, but like an insider getting a private, high-level overview of the company’s future. Take note!


Zengo Cycle is a full-body, cycle-centric indoor-cycling workout that aims to tackle both body and mind, going for a meditative work-out experience. We worked with Zengo Cycle to create a series of videos, but this welcome video in particular stood out, helping delight and on-board first-time customers to make them feel right at home.


In addition to the step-by-step walkthrough, we snuck in some footage of a class in session, as well as some interviews from staff to get the newcomers hyped up for their first session. You can use welcome videos like this to really seal the deal with your customers, to not only keep them coming back, but get them fired up about you and your program so they’ll share it with their friends!


Eczo Bike offers a gadget-kit that turns a bicycle into an electric bike, which is an interesting entry into this category, as it’s a tech-fitness hybrid company. However, because bicycling is such a popular sport with a thriving community, we thought it was worth including.


We worked with Eczo to create this lifestyle product video. We could have created a straightforward video in a single location, focusing on the kit alone and its tech specs – but how engaging would that have been? Instead, we took the action out on the road and showed the Eczo kit in motion as riders traversed rocky terrains and cityscapes alike. Most importantly, we highlighted how easy the kit is to install by showing someone putting it together quickly in a parking lot. You want your customers to envision themselves using your product – make it as easy for them as possible!


City Surf Fitness offers full-body, high-intensity, surf-inspired strength and conditioning group classes. We worked with them to create a series of videos to nurture prospective leads into becoming class attendees. In particular, we broke down their roster of different classes, and turned each class into its own highlight video. Check out these 15-second social content videos we created specifically for social media to promote each class individually.


You can use this same strategy to nurture your prospects by providing multiple pieces of content over a series of days. By hitting them with different content the right amount of times, you’re that many times more likely to stoke their interest and convince them to give you a shot.
